Hushovd to show off his Rainbow Jersey in Italy.

medalRoad cycling world champion Thor Hushovd will take part in the Giro del Piemonte on October 14, and Giro di Lombardia on October 16, before ending a brilliant 2010 season.

“I am really honored to show my world champion’s jersey,” said Hushovd. “Lombardia will be the last race in the history of Cervélo TestTeam, and it is a privilege to line up together with my teammates with the jersey on my shoulders.”

Look out, this week, for Thor in his new Castelli rainbow jersey, and matching shorts, gloves and socks. Photo’s of the two champions, Hushovd and Pooley, will also be available next week on blog.castelli-cycling.com

    Castelli, please answer Segio’s question. If none are available to be sold to the public now, say so, and please consider selling a “commemorative” 2010 Cervelo TestTeam World Champion jersey.

    Good news! We’ve worked out a deal with the UCI so that we can sell these jerseys and they should be available in stores and on the Slipstream websites beginning mid April.
