The fabric is more like a windstopper and that’s why much more breathable compared to a pure rain jacket. Perfect for a short shower or under doubtful weather or simply as a warmer short sleeve jersey. It also repels the water quite well.
I personally hope, that Castelli will also offer a long sleeved version – would be THE perfect jacket for spring/fall.
Could be a bit tricky at the elbows, but it probably be solved with some stitches or elastic inserts.
