Sunday’s 115km ride with moderate climbing on some of the rougher roads around the Bassano area were a good test of the futuristic Body Paint bibshort.
The minimalist short absolutely disappears underneath you, and you really don’t feel it on. The fabric is great in both mild and warm weather, and the bibs don’t rub against your chest like most other bibs.
When it comes to iconic cycling locations in the US, not many can compare to the awe-inspiring spectacle of the California coast. That being said, it was difficult to refuse an invitation from the Kovarus / ABTA cycling team to have us along for a photo/video shoot on some of their favorite training roads. Into the final week: Week three of the Tour de France and the drama rises. It’s not just about the general classification, or battling for the green jersey, a hundreds of different sub-plots make up the multi-layered narrative of this great race. Every rider at the Tour has a different story to tell, and each of these images paints a tale of its own.

It is 18.45 pm (6:45 pm), and I am heavily sweating, struggling my way up the 16 km of Monte Bisbino. Monte Bisbino is located at Lake Como. Heinrich Haussler’s huge grin as he powered across the finish line of stage two of the Tour de Suisse said it all. After a rough spell in the Classics and the Tour of California when he was sidelined by a knee injury, a victory for his Cervélo squad in the team’s biggest home race was just of result the 26-year-old needed prior to the Tour de France.
