At age 60, I've tried a LOT of shorts/bibs, trying to find the perfect combination of pad & fit. The Castelli Free Aero bibs finally fit the bill (can't wait to try a pair of body paint)! Size large hugs my contours with no sag or constriction anywhere, and the pad really does insulate me from the saddle, and never feels "soggy," even on the longest rides on the hottest days. It stays where you put it at the beginning of the ride, and the leg grippers are the finest design I can imagine.
